Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. the Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercises. In the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. She was the first Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal in the team event that gave her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being the first Americans to have two consecutive team golds. In addition, she won two silver medals for the floor exercise and individual all-around. After the second Olympics the gymnast was off for three years from gymnastics. Also, she has been an athlete on two world championship gold winning teams. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Aly is planning to pursue an occupation as a designer. Her future goals include growing her range of leotards. Fierce is a new book is due out later in the year.
